How to completely remove a plant from the garden (Part 1)
Many times you need to remove old and useless bushes to make room for new and more useful plants. So, this article will show you the most effective methods for removing large shrubs by digging.
👉Prepare necessary tools and materials: Pruning shears, a small saw, a spade, and a pickaxe also help in cutting off tree roots. Thick gardening gloves and sturdy boots.
👉Prune bushes to expose stumps: Dig a trench around the base of the tree to expose the roots. Be careful when digging near water pipes or electrical cables.
👉Pull the roots out of the soil: Use spades and apricots to cut off the roots as much as possible to make it easier to pull the whole roots out of the ground. Shake the soil off the roots to make the plant lighter and easier to handle.
👉Treat newly plucked bushes: Discard the plant after cutting and uprooting it from the ground. The diseased plant should be burned or thrown in the trash to prevent the disease from spreading to other plants.
👉Cut off the remaining roots and apply compost: Once you have removed the root pot, use a pickaxe or spade to cut off as much of the remaining roots in the soil as possible, allowing the roots to naturally decompose in the soil.
